WASHINGTON — Needed: A name for the the 4-month-old bloodhound puppy working with the sheriff’s office in Carroll County, Maryland.
The female pup, once trained by the Maryland State Police, will be “tasked with searching for missing persons, criminals who have fled the police, prison escapees, and assist investigators in developing potential leads in criminal cases,” according the sheriff’s office.
