Police: Va. man charged for sexual assaults of 2 girls in bathroom

WASHINGTON — A 20-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting two girls in the bathroom of a burger place in Ashburn, Virginia, on Sunday night, police said.

Luis F. Ore of Sterling, Virginia, is a registered sex offender, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said.

He was arrested after police say he followed two girls into the women’s bathroom around 8 p.m. Sunday at the Elevation Burger in One Loudoun. He detained them in the bathroom and sexually assaulted them.

Ore was also working at the food place where the assault happened, police said. He has been charged with two counts of sexual assault of a person under the age of 13 and two counts of abduction.

He is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.

A representative from Ore’s former employer, Elevation Burger, emailed this statement after his arrest:

“The Elevation Burger family was deeply saddened to learn of the events at one of our franchise locations on Sunday, November 13, that led to the arrest of a now former employee. We send our most heartfelt concern to the individuals and their families involved. Our customers and communities are our priority and without equivocation, the arrested employee was immediately terminated. Elevation Burger is currently investigating the internal processes for which he was hired. Our main focus is actively cooperating in this ongoing criminal investigation.”
