WASHINGTON – A data center under construction is on fire in Ashburn.
According to the Loudoun County Fire Department, the three-alarm fire was reported on Smith Switch Road.
The fire began on the building’s roof where five people were working. The workers escaped without injury, a fire department spokeswoman says.
The fire is under control, the department says.
