Gordon Peterson says farewell to WJLA

WASHINGTON — Gordon Peterson signed off from WJLA Wednesday night after decades there and at WUSA9.

He says he’s not completely done working because he says he’s “too young to quit.”

Peterson first worked in radio in Massachusetts before moving to D.C. in 1969.

He shared the anchor desk with Maureen Bunyan for more than 20 years at WUSA9. For the past decade, the two have been at WJLA.
