WASHINGTON — Sure, chocolates are delicious and cards are nice, but nothing beats quality time with the ones you love.
This Valentine’s Day, treat your little sweethearts to a special outing. Red Tricycle’s Guiomar Ochoa shares a few ideas with holiday-themed events happening in the D.C. area:
D.C. libraries get crafty
D.C.’s public libraries are hosting a number of Valentine-themed classes and workshops for Washingtonians of all ages. Some sessions include making valentines for veterans, crafting cards and even sewing heart-shaped elbow patches onto worn sweaters.
There’s a Valentine’s Day story time for little ones and a Valentine’s Day party at the Georgetown Library. Visit the DCPL website for information on times and locations.
