The Bolinvar Stone Manor in Virginia’s Loudoun County officially sold to the tune of $15.5 million after spending months under contract, marking the highest sale in the county this year.
The sale was announced by real estate firm Washington Fine Properties on Tuesday, which represented the buyers of the vast grounds.
Built in 1925 just outside of historic Middleburg, the estate boasts 22 rooms, seven bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two powder rooms spread out over four floors.
Measuring out at 10,629 square feet, the manor encompasses the pinnacle of Virginia Hunt Country with just over 325 acres that feature two courtyard stables with 33 stalls, and two outdoor riding arenas with 16 additional stalls.
“Bolinvar is a very important sale for the countryside and for the local community. With every encroaching development, it is more crucial than ever that these great estates remain intact,” said Debbie Meighan of Washington Fine Properties in a news release. “And these buyers are dedicated to that.”
