When you think of the world of high fashion, you might be inclined to think of New York City or Paris. But D.C.’s fashion scene is also home to accomplished designers, and they showed off their creations last week as part of D.C. Fashion Week.
Designers, models and fashion devotees gathered Sept. 27 at the Aston Martin Washington Showroom in Vienna, Virginia, for the opening night fashion show.
Hosted by Candiace Dillard Bassett, of “Real Housewives of Potomac” fame, and WPGC News Director Guy Lambert, the show featured designs by BCBGMAXZARIA and D.C.-based designer and D.C. Fashion Week founder Ean Williams and his label, Corjor International.
Photographer Shannon Finney captured some of the looks on and off the runway.
