PHOTOS: Dulles’s newest TSA dog featured in 2021 calendar

The Transportation Security Administration has done a 2021 calendar featuring its workin’ pups. It’s worth downloading, because holy frijole is it squeal-worthy.

And one of 2021’s calendar pups will soon be doing her part to keep Dulles International Airport safe.

JJagoda is a black Labrador who works in explosives detection.

A few essential facts:

  • She is 9 years old.
  • She loves her pink Cuz toy the most.
  • But she also likes playing with Frisbees.
  • And balls and sticks.
  • She’ll start work at Dulles early next year.
  • And no, you can’t pet her. She’s working.

JJagoda, who is named after a 9/11 victim, learned her trade at Joint Base San Antonio — Lackland. About 300 dogs there complete the 16-week training annually.

JJagoda is named after Jake Denis Jagoda, who was killed on 9/11. She learned her trade at Joint Base San Antonio — Lackland, which is considered the “Center for Excellence” for explosives-detection training.

She’s pretty good at her job, with assignments in Portland and Alaska on her resume.
