FREDERICK, Md. (AP) _ A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with the June stabbing death of a 52-year-old Frederick woman.
Frederick police say Milton Orellana was a known acquaintance of Gloria Watson, who was found dead inside her apartment on June 3. Investigators later determined that Watson had been sexually assaulted.
Orellana has been charged with first-degree murder and other related offenses.
Investigators say they identified Orellana as a suspect through DNA evidence found at the scene.
Online jail records do not indicate if Orellana has an attorney to comment on the charges.
