WASHINGTON — The cause of a Vienna, Virginia, house fire is under investigation.
An elderly couple had to be taken to a local burn center with non-life-threatening injuries after their home on the 9800 block of Bridleridge Court caught on fire. The woman who lived in the home was treated for smoke inhalation.
Fairfax County Fire Battalion Chief Willie Bailey said firefighters responded around 5:30 a.m. and quickly extinguished the blaze.
One firefighter suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
