As of 2 p.m.,  nearly 2,500  Dominion Power customers were without power in Fairfax County, Virginia, primarily in Reston.  As of 6:45 p.m., only 357 outages remained, according to Dominion’s website. Full restoration was expected by 7 p.m.

In Maryland, Pepco reported nearly 4,000 outages as of 4:20 p.m. but was down to 381 outages in Prince George’s and fewer than 5 in Montgomery County as of 6:45 p.m. Restoration was expected between 8 and 9 p.m.
