FAIRFAX, Va. — A student at Fairfax High School has been charged with secretly recording video of other students using the stalls in a boy’s restroom.
Phatsakorn Pongpasit of Fairfax, a 20-year-old senior at the high school, was arrested after school leaders reached out to police Thursday.
“It was recorded on his cellphone,” said Sgt. Natalie Hinesley with the City of Fairfax Police Department.
Pongpasit is charged with possession of child pornography and unlawful creation of an image of another. It was not clear exactly how many students were filmed.
He has been released from jail on bond.
