‘Suspicious’ Centreville death ruled a homicide

WASHINGTON — A suspicious death in Fairfax County has been ruled a homicide, police said Monday afternoon.

Fairfax County police were called to a home in the 5600 block of Gresham Lane in Centreville, Virginia, around 4:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of an unconscious man.

Once inside, police found Hosung Lee, 21, of Centreville, with trauma to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police initially investigated the incident as a suspicious death, but announced around 5 p.m. Monday that the Office of Chief Medical Examiner ruled that it was a homicide.

There is no threat to the public, police say.
