WASHINGTON — A water main break caused a major road in Falls Church, Virginia to close early Wednesday morning.
The break occurred on East Broad Street (Va. 7) and North Washington Street (U.S. 29) early Wednesday morning.
The break blocks all lanes of Broad Street in Falls Church between U.S. 29/Washington Street and Cherry Street.
Eight homes are without water as a result of the break, according to a Fairfax Water spokesperson.
It is not yet clear when the road will reopen, but the spokesperson says crew will be on the scene through the rest of Wednesday.
