Music legend Percy Sledge dead at 73

WASHINGTON — His signature voice belted love songs for the ages.

Now, singer Percy Sledge has died at age 73, according to CBS News.

Sledge is best known for his 1966 hit, “When a Man Loves a Woman.”

He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.
