WASHINGTON — Mel Gibson went from Australian unknown to global superstar in George Miller’s post-apocalyptic action classic “Mad Max” (1979) and the even better sequel “Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior” (1981).
Now, Warner Bros. has released the first full trailer for “Mad Max: Fury Road,” the upcoming Hollywood remake directed by Miller and starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.
The movie is slated for release on May 15.
