All-male ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot also in the works

WASHINGTON — “Who you gonna call?”

Either dial “M” for men or “W” for women.

Sony Pictures is planning an all-male remake of the 1984 comedy classic, according to Deadline.com.

The news comes shortly after an all-female “Ghostbusters” reboot was announced, directed by Paul Feig and starring “Bridesmaids” alumni Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.

The all-male version will be written by Drew Pearce (“Iron Man 3”) and directed by Joe and Anthony Russo (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier”). Channing Tatum is attached to produce.

Deadline also reports that Sony is forming Ghostcorps, a new production company headed by Ivan Reitman and Dan Aykroyd, who created the original movie.

Their job will be to look for further “Ghostbusters” branding opportunities.

How many “Ghostbusters” movies is too many?

We’re about to find out.
