Road closures for Down syndrome awareness race

WASHINGTON — The fifth annual Race4Respect will close a portion of Pennsylvania Avenue NW in D.C. Saturday.

The Down syndrome Awareness race is from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. but road closures started as early as 2 a.m. and will last till about 1 p.m., D.C. police said.

Below are affected roads:

  • Pennsylvania Avenue NW from 9th to 14th streets
  • 13th Street NW from E Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
  • 12th Street NW from Constitution Avenue to E Street
  • 11th Street NW from E Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
  • 10th Street NW from E Street to Constitution Avenue
