3 sought in connection with shooting of teen in DC

WASHINGTON — D.C. police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding three suspects in connection to a shooting that took place on Thursday in the 1600 block of Irving Street Northwest.

The three were captured by a surveillance camera near the area where the shooting took place. Video of the suspects can be seen here:

Police were called to the location for the report of a shooting just before 6:30 p.m. They found a teen-aged male with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police said that anyone who has information or spots any of the three suspects should take no action, but call police at 202-727-9099 or text a tip to the department’s text tip-line at 50411.
