Southeast DC man dies after early morning shooting

WASHINGTON — Detectives with D.C. police are investigating the fatal shooting of a Southeast D.C. man early Saturday morning.

Police found Alexander Mosby, 39, suffering from a gunshot wound in the 2200 block of Savannah Terrace around 1:48 a.m.

Mosby was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

D.C. police offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for a homicide that took place in D.C.
