DC police: Critically missing 9-year-old boy located

UPDATE (8:55 a.m.): Jeremiah Matthew Mayo has been located.

WASHINGTON — Police in D.C. are asking the public to help locate a critically missing 9-year-old boy.

Jeremiah Mattew Mayo was last seen Wednesday on the 1800 block of Providence Street in Northeast D.C.

He is a black male with light complexion, around 4 feet tall and weighing 95 pounds. He has brown hair in a short bush.

He was last seen wearing a black short-sleeve shirt with red letters, black shorts and gold and black Nike sneakers.

Anyone with information on the boy’s whereabouts should call police at 202-727-9099 or 202-576-6768.
