WASHINGTON — Police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a Northeast D.C. shooting in January that left another teen dead and two others injured.

Shelby Jones, of Waldorf, Maryland, was arrested Saturday and has been charged as an adult with first-degree murder while armed, D.C. police said.

The Jan. 12 shooting happened in the 400 block of Riggs Road at around 2 p.m.

Responding officers found two men and a teenager suffering from gunshot wounds inside a residence. Davon Fisher, 17, of Northeast D.C., died from his injuries in a hospital.
