2 children struck by car in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON — Two children were struck by a car in Northwest D.C. Monday morning.

D.C. Fire and EMS said it happened just before 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of 14th street and Somerset Place.

Both children were taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
