WASHINGTON — The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group are holding their spring meeting this weekend, and that means a few traffic and transit changes in downtown D.C.
The D.C. police said Thursday that 19th Street Northwest, between Pennsylvania Avenue and G Street, will be closed unil 8 p.m. Saturday. The road will reopen Sunday, but parking restrictions will be in effect.
Meanwhile, the Loudoun County commuter buses on Friday will not pick up passengers at the stop at 19th and H streets NW except for the midday 800D bus. If you normally use that stop, the commuter bus authorities say you should use the stops at Eye and 19th streets (at the Metrobus stop at the Presidential Plaza Building) or 19th and E streets, on the corner near the Mitchell Hall dormitory and the 7/11.
