WASHINGTON — A Southeast D.C. man has been charged with the March shooting of a 33-year-old man, also from Southeast.
On Friday, authorities arrested Antione Kingwood, 24, and charged him with second degree murder while armed in the death of Steven Edward Stewart Jr.
The shooting occurred in the 2200 block of Minnesota Avenue SE shortly before 9 a.m. on Friday, March 17.
Police arrived at the scene to find Stewart Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Officials have not revealed a possible motive.
