WASHINGTON — Two people were sent to the hospital after a large tree branch fell on them in D.C. on Sunday.
The branch fell near 9th Street and Constitution Avenue Northwest, near the Natural History Museum, according to D.C. Fire and EMS.
Some people were able to get away when they heard the tree branch breaking, but two were hit.
Both patients had minor injuries and are expected to be OK.
Two eastbound lines on the right were blocked on Constitution Avenue.
