WASHINGTON — A 5K race will close streets in D.C. from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday.
Here are the closures for Mayor Muriel Bowser’s 2016 Fresh Start 5K race:
• 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: East Capitol Street between 17th Street, NE and 22nd Street, NE;
• 8:45 a.m. – 10 a.m.: 19th Street between Independence Avenue, SE and East Capitol Street, NE;
• 8:45 a.m. – 10 a.m.: 22nd Street between C Street, NE and Independence Avenue, SE.
The street closures will end when the event concludes.
D.C. National Guard personnel will be able to access the D.C. Stadium Armory using the Independence Avenue Service Road.
