WASHINGTON – Police arrested a man Friday who was wanted for a D.C. murder earlier this month.
On Friday, Metropolitan Police Department announced the arrest of 25-year-old Davon Peyton, who was wanted for the shooting death of 21-year-old Ray Andre Harrison.
Police arrested Peyton, a Northeast D.C. resident, at 10 a.m. Friday.
Police say Peyton shot Harrison in the chest in the 1300 block of Adams Street in Northeast D.C. on Nov. 13.
Emergency crews transported Harrison to a nearby hospital where he died.
Peyton is charged with second degree murder while armed.
