WASHINGTON — Police say a man is dead after another man shot him in broad daylight in Northwest D.C. Tuesday morning. The shooter is at large.
Police received a call about a shooting in the 2900 block of Sherman Avenue in Northwest at about 11:15 a.m. When police arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the chest.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, died, says Alice Kim with the D.C. police.
Police are searching for the shooter.
Officials have not released any additional details about the shooting at this time.
