UPDATE 9/11/15 1:19 p.m.: D.C. police say one person was shot and another person was stabbed at Union Station Friday afternoon during a domestic dispute.
A female was stabbed during and a male suspect was shot by a security officer, D.C. police say.

EARLIER 9/11/15 1:15 p.m.: WASHINGTON —There is police activity at D.C.’s Union Station and the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms is advising people to remain clear of the area. D.C. police say there is no active shooter at Union Station and an investigation is underway. Also, VRE service is back up after its temporary suspension due to the police activity at Union Station.
Due to police activity, remain clear of the area near Union Station. Please avoid this area until further notice.
