The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person seen on surveillance footage, linked to a burglary Thursday in the 3300 block of Brown Street Northwest.
The footage — released Tuesday on the police department’s YouTube channel — shows a male on a bike who rides up to the residence, walks up to the porch and approaches the door.
Police will offer a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Those with information are asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text a tip to the police department’s text tip line, 50411.
