WASHINGTON – The individual found as firefighters doused a garbage can fire in the Trinidad neighborhood earlier this week died of a gunshot wound and his death has been ruled a homicide, according to D.C. police.
The male, human remains were discovered as firefighters put out a fire in the alley of the 1200 block of Holbrook Terrace NE early Tuesday morning.
Police have not provide a name or age for the individual found.
