WASHINGTON – The second in command of the U.S. Capitol Police will retire at the end of the month.
The agency announced that Assistant Chief Daniel Malloy’s last day will be April 30. He serves as chief of operations for the agency, where he’s worked for 30 years.
Chief Kim Dine in a statement said that Malloy’s “tireless efforts” and “relentlessly positive attitude” served as as a positive example and “moved many elements of our vision forward.”
