State Dept. official charged with voyeurism

WASHINGTON (AP) – A State Department official who’s already charged with soliciting a minor in Virginia is now facing charges of voyeurism and stalking in the District of Columbia.

D.C. police said Monday that 44-year-old Daniel Rosen was arrested Sunday afternoon. Police say he was charged after a search of his cellphone revealed multiple videos of women that were recorded without their consent. Police say the videos were made in the Adams Morgan, Mount Pleasant and U Street neighborhoods. Police say the women in the videos appear to be over age 18.

Rosen works as a counterterrorism official at the State Department. Last month, he was charged with soliciting a minor online after a series of online exchanges with a Fairfax County police detective.
