WASHINGTON — Two people are hospitalized after the car they were in crashed into a a wall at a Giant grocery store in D.C.

It happened in the store’s underground parking garage around noon on the 4300 block of Connecticut Avenue near the Van Ness Metro station.

The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs has taken control of the scene. The Giant will reopen once the car has been removed and the scene is secure.
