WASHINGTON – A man has died after being hit by a vehicle Friday on Suitland Parkway, near Alabama Avenue, SE.
The Metropolitan Police Department says around 6:45 a.m. Friday, a pedestrian entered a travel lane and was hit by a pickup truck headed east on Suitland Parkway.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim, a man, has not been identified.
