WASHINGTON — D.C. police detectives say they’ve made an arrest in two related “first degree sexual abuse while armed” cases.
The assaults occurred on Nov. 7, 2014, in the 700 block of 51st Street NE, and on Nov. 27, 2014 in the 300 block of 49th Street NE. The victims in each case were sexually assaulted by two subjects.
On Jan. 29, 19-year-old Rae-John Montral Gerald — of Southeast — was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree sexual abuse.
On Nov. 27, an adult man was arrested in connection with the 49th Street case.
