WASHINGTON — Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” (1946) has become a holiday staple, culminating with Jimmy Stewart’s jubilant run through the streets of Bedford Falls.
On Friday night, downtown Frederick, Maryland hosted a free screening of the Christmas classic, followed by an homage to the film’s iconic ending led by WTOP’s Jason Fraley.
Cars honked their horns and residents shouted down from their second-story windows.
