Yara will be open for lunch and dinner with a menu featuring seafood and shareables with traditional and modern takes on dishes from across Central and South America. No executive chef has been named yet.

It is one of two restaurants at the Washington Marriott Capitol Hill. Society Commons includes a bar and full-service restaurant, and opened with the hotel Jan. 11, with an American menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The 235-room Washington Marriott Capitol Hill, at 175 L Street NE, is the first franchised Marriott property inside the Capital Beltway. It is managed by PM Hotel Group.

It also includes 18,000 square feet of meeting and event space and a ballroom. There is a private M Club, reserved for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members.

The hotel is part of the new NoMa CNTR development, which also includes 40,000 square feet of retail and the 500-unit REVEL apartment building.
