Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has tapped a new executive to oversee its cybersecurity strategy and response efforts, selecting Kevin Brown as its chief information security officer, according to a statement from the company issued Thursday.
The new role will make for a second tour at SAIC for Brown. He was Boston Scientific Corp.’s CISO for the past six years, but previously spent 17 years with the Reston technology integrator, ultimately becoming senior vice president and operations manager for information security business before leaving in 2011.
