WASHINGTON — When the fans are gone, Capital One Arena will prepare for construction dust, with $40 million worth of upgrades coming. And Monumental Sports & Entertainment is giving fans willing to spend a little more a first look at what will be the new PwC Club.

The top-to-bottom renovation of the PwC Club will debut at the start of the 2018-2019 Capitals’ and Wizards’ seasons.

Monumental says branded culinary stations will be positioned throughout the club offering arena favorites, a chef-attended carving station, gourmet desserts, a made-to-order pizza oven and concepts from celebrity chefs.

“We are thrilled to announce these exciting plans for the renovation of the PwC Club at Capital One Arena,” said Darren Montgomery, senior vice president of Capitals tickets sales and arena events at Monumental Sports & Entertainment.

“Our goal was to create a space that is both comfortable and dynamic while providing our guests with first-in-class amenities, such as complimentary dining options from some of the world’s top celebrity chefs and deluxe seating, to ensure the new PwC Club is a superior seating destination.”
In addition to the complimentary food stations, the PwC Club will also have two full-service bars.

There will be three rows of arena-facing seating. Seats in the first two rows will have oversized leather seats with tray tables and cup holders; the third will have bartop seating. All rows will have individual USB ports.

PwC Club members also get complimentary parking or Uber ride credits. Club ticket pricing for the 2018-2019 season range from $126 to $200 per game.

Upgrades arena-wide include brand-new padded seats with cup holders throughout the arena and a new sound system. Concourses on the 100 and 400 levels will also get a complete makeover.

All renovations are expected to be completed by fall 2018.
