WASHINGTON — The new Rosslyn McDonald’s that opens May 8 will be the first McDonald’s in the Washington area to sell McCafe baked goods, such as muffins, coffee cake and croissants.
The Rosslyn McDonald’s will also have kiosk ordering and table service, with orders delivered to tables by McDonald’s employees.
Rosslyn lost its only McDonald’s location in 2014, when it closed to make way for construction of the Central Place development and the new Rosslyn Metro entrance at 1800 N. Lynn Street.
The new McDonald’s will also be among the 325 or so D.C.-area locations offering mobile order-and-pay.
McDonald’s is the first of several restaurants that will open on the ground and plaza levels of the Central Place residential tower. Others include sweetgreen, Cava Mezze Grill, Compass Coffee, Nando’s Peri Peri and The Beet.
