WASHINGTON — Chick-fil-A’s Cow Appreciation Day is back on Tuesday, July 12, but the annual giveaway is a little different this year.
In the past, diners who dressed in a head-to-toe cow costume would earn a free meal, and those wearing just one cow-like item (a cow-spot printed bow tie, for instance) would get a free entree.
This year, Chick-fil-A says it decided to simplify the reward, and offer everyone who wears at least one cow-like thing a free entree.
In other words, extra effort won’t earn you more grub.
The giveaway for those who “show their spots” is happening at all of Chick-fil-A’s more than 2,000 restaurants nationwide, from the time each restaurant opens until 7 p.m.
That means you can earn your freebie for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
