WASHINGTON — An Annapolis, Maryland-area man is dead, and police are investigating his death as a homicide.
Anne Arundel County say the victim, 29-year-old Shannon Blair Jr., sustained gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Detectives say Blair is from the Annapolis area, but not the community where he was found.
Police found Blair dead in the road when they responded to reports of gun shots near Washingt6on Avenue and Bay Highlands Drive in Annapolis around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
“Detectives continue to conduct interviews and will be further examining the scene to attempt to locate evidence,” police say on their Facebook page.
