WASHINGTON — A Dumfries man has been charged with the 2015 fatal shooting of an Alexandria man.
Brian Bolar, 26, was arrested Friday for the death of Leon Williams. Bolar is charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon, Alexandria police said.
Williams, 37, was shot around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 7 on Belle Pre Way. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Bolar was being held without bond at the William G. Truesdale Adult Detention Center.
