WASHINGTON — Three people were taken to a hospital early Friday morning after a stabbing at a hotel party at the Hilton in Alexandria.
The Alexandria Police Department says it responded to the party around 1:30 a.m. after two 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old boy were stabbed at the party on the 5000 block of Seminary Road.
One of the 18 year olds is in serious condition, according to a news release. The other two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses told police the stabbing was the result of a fight over liquor.
A number of people at the party were drinking underage. They were charged.
The incident remains under investigation.
