Comments on energy
This may be the most spot on commentary Chris has ever done. I want all the clean alternatives too (except for wind - not sold on that). But most of them are not commercially feasible for a couple of decades. We need to exploit all the ready alternatives (coal, oil, nuclear, natural gas) whether on or off shore. While even those would take several years to get the energy output, it would create jobs almost immediately and eventually enhance our national security and reduce the trade deficit, not to mention stopping the flow of funds to people who hate us. What's not to like? And by the way let's kill those ethanol subsidies. Who ever thought it was a good idea to take a food supply and use it for energy? No one shopping for groceries these days, that's for sure.
