9-year-old dies in fatal crash

WASHINGTON– A fatal car crash in Clinton, Maryland, killed a nine-year-old child and injured a driver.

At about 5 p.m. on Nov. 2, Prince George’s County police responded to a report of a two-car crash at the intersection of Woodyard Road and Canberra Drive. They found Brown suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a hospital where she later died from her injuries. The driver in the car with Brown was uninjured. The driver of the second car suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation of the accident reveals that Brown’s car was driving down Woodyard Road, tried to make a left turn onto Canberra Drive, and struck a car traveling on the other side of the road.
