BOWIE, Md. — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Bowie.
Prince George’s County police say at 5:48 a.m. Thursday they found a man with gunshot wounds in the 9900 block of Chessington Way.
Amir Ali Jr., 39, was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives believe this was a drug-related murder and not random, according to a Prince George’s County press release.
Police have released little information and continue to investigate.
The home is near Charles Flowers High School.
