WASHINGTON – It requires a pile of cash, but there’s just something special about chowing down at a sporting game.

But, how do you know if you’re getting the best a ballpark has to offer?

While some of us are happy with a bag of peanuts and a brat, others might be looking for slightly more intriguing food choices.

And now, a new app called “Hungry Fan” may be just the thing you need.

Mashable reports the app — which is free — claims it can find all the concession stands in more than 40 Major League Baseball and NFL stadiums.

We downloaded the app at WTOP to test it and after what seemed like an overly long wait, 35 Nationals Park venue options, with menus and prices, popped up. However, FedEx Field does not appear to be included — at least for now.
